Who we are
Centre for Culture and Environmental Conservation (CECECON) is a Ghanaian owned Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), established in August, 2023 with our headquarters in Tamale, the capital city of the Northern Region of Ghana.
What we do
The principal activity of CECECON is advocacy and sensitization on climate change, culture and the environment in Ghana and beyond. Our main aims are research, advocacy and sensitization on these issues.
Where we operate
Currently, the Operational areas of CECECON in Ghana are the Northern Region, Upper East Region, Upper West Region, North East Region, Savannah Region, Oti Region and Bono East Region.
Our Mission
To become a Centre of excellence in research and advocacy on issues of climate change and environmental degradation in Ghana and to promote climate smart agriculture in Ghana.
Our Vision
To become an organization which executes innovative and cutting-edge projects that would address the current cultural, environmental and climate change issues.
